As a high school basketball star she competed in the IHSAA State Championships Three-point shooting contests at Market Square Arena in both her freshman and sophomore years (before that contest was dropped) after winning the Indianapolis Sectionals and Regionals .  She also played AAU basketball at the end of her freshman year and went all the way to the State Finals Contest.

In her sophomore year she led her team to the Indianapolis Sectional Title before losing to eventual State Champion Martinsville.  Her performance on the basketball floor earned her Honorable Mention Indiana All-State Hoosier Basketball in her Sophomore year.

Again she was chosen to play AAU basketball and took this team all the way to the State Finals contest again.  She also won a place on the Girl's Junior Varsity Volleyball Team as a Sophomore at Lawrence North High School.

In her third year of Varsity Basketball, Lindsay's three-point field goal percentage was elevated to 41.4% and her total of 58 three-pointers was the highest among Class 4A schools in the Indianapolis Metro Area.  She hit 76.2% of her free throws and again led her team in scoring.

Her performance netted her the honor of being named a Marion County All-Star, and she was given Honorable Mention Indiana All-State Hoosier Basketball acclaim and was given the Varsity Volleyball Mental Attitude Award for her part on the Lawrence North Varsity Volleyball team.

Her 1999 team finished sixth in the State Finals AAU Tournament.

Lindsay performed in the Summer Blue Chips Basketball Camp in Richmond, Kentucky and in the Mid-West Shoot-Out at Urbana, Ohio.

Lindsay Fisher completed her notable 4 year athletic career at Lawrence North High School  having been elected Co-Captain of the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team.  She was the basketball team scoring leader for the third consecutive year.  She hit as many three point shots as the rest of the team combined.  She made 52 of 64 free throws for a team-leading 81.25%.  And she led the team in steals.  She tied the school record for most three point goals in a game (5) on six different occasions and finished with a total of 144 three point goals in her high school Varsity career.  She was given Honorable Mention status on the All Conference Team.  She was chosen as a member of the Marion County All Star Team which soundly trounced the Indianapolis City All Stars in a convincing fashion.

Lindsay was awarded the Dwaine C. Bell Scholarship Award for athletes at Lawrence North High School, and she was paid the high honor by her fellow students of being chosen their Homecoming Queen in the Fall of 1999 and was given the DAR AWARD by the Daughters of the American Revolution Organization.

She had contact from 24 colleges and universities across the nation (including NCAA Division 1 teams) before choosing to play for Goshen College largely because of her admiration for Coach Kim Eiler.  She hopes to continue to contribute significantly to the success of her new college team.
